Controversial private detective Jane is nursing injuries after being attacked Thursday night in Eldoret.
Jane Mugo sustained serious injuries on her hands and head in a carjacking incident at Burnt Forest, Uasin Gishu County.
Reporting to the police, Jane Mugo who is admitted alongside her two aides at Reale Hospital in Eldoret said gunmen on Subarus blocked their car.
Mugo believes her attackers was due to her recent investigations along Bungoma and Busia counties where she has been traversing for the last four days.
Jane Mugo’s driver, Kevin Okoth and her other company, Newton Manyana were abducted and dragged out of the car where she was beaten and sustained serious cuts.
The attackers left her to death but was rescued by good Samaritan who took her to Kondoo police station.
“The victim cannot exactly comprehend the incident since she is exhibiting signs of being in pain though appearing stable,” police said.
For Okoth and Manyana, they claimed they were forced to drink unknown substance on their way while blindfolded. They both sustained serious injuries.
