The controversial breakup between Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua and Lilian Ng’ang’a is far from over in the public eye.
The estranged ex-lover demanded action be taken against county boss for allegedly coming after things she owns.
In a presser Thursday morning, Lilian said that Mutua was threatening her and those close her in what she said he wants to “crash her to ash”.
This includes taking away her car and shares from a company they owned before breakup.
The publicized situation got the attention of the likes of Mike Sonko, Makau Mutua, Donald Kipkorir and Dr Miguna Miguna.
Miguna Miguna sided with Lilian saying that cohabiting with someone for more than three years is regarded as marriage and therefore she has the rights to take what she had during the relationship.
“No one forced Alfred Mutua to call Lilian Ng’ang’a First Lady for 9 years. Nobody forced him to serenade her in expensive gifts. Once given freely, gifts are irreversible,” he said.
Lilian Ng’ang’a has echoed Miguna’s words and through a tweet, she said she supports the statement.
