World Football governing body FIFA has threatened to ban Kenya from participating in all sport activities after the government disbanded Football Kenya Federation (FKF).
This comes a day after Sports Cabinet Secretary Amina Mohammed unveiled a new caretaker committee that will oversee the football body for six months.

The push and pull by FKF and the ministry has attracted FIFA which has warned Kenya for the move.
In a statement on Thursday, Chief Member Association officer Kenny Jean-Marie said that CS Amina made a wrong move.
“We kindly ask you to inform the Cabinet Secretary that in the event her decision to appoint a FKF Caretaker Committee and correlated secretariat was to be upheld, we would have no other choice than to submit the present matter to the Bureau of FIFA Council for consideration and decision,” the statement reads.
FIFA also asked for a meeting between three bodies; FIFA, FKF, and Sports Ministry.
” We would like to emphasize our willingness to hold a meeting with FKF and the ministry of sports as soon as possible so to address concerns both sides may have,” Marie said.
