Deputy President William Ruto’s staunch supporter Bishop Godfrey Migwi has died.
The news that were broken on social media got many surprised on the man of God who was eyeing a political seat.
Godfrey Migwi was DP Ruto’s staunch supporter had had shown intention to run for Mathioya parliamentary seat.
Migwi was running a religious show on Kameme Radio. His colleague Muthee Kiengei has announced the sad news paying him tribute in an emotional post.
“Why should i be typing this, in all what we had and did, your destination was this early. So bad and sad, You encouraged me to pick back the priesthood vestments and promised to support me in all this……..its well,go well,Rev Bishop Godfrey Migwi you’ve just surprised me,” he penned.
DP Ruto on the other side mourned the Bishop as a vocal a nd a powerful leader full of sense of humor.
“Bishop Godfrey Migwi was a bold, vocal and powerful spiritual leader with great sense of humour. He was a mentor and a friend with firm pastoral faith that he infused to many of us. We will miss his topical and nourishing sermons,” he tweeted.
