Deputy president William Ruto has skipped the Devolution conference as he continue with his bottom up campaigns in Mt Kenya area.
According to his official communication secretary, David Mugonyi, DP Ruto’s speech will be read by a representative as counties wind up three day event.
DP has already landed in Nyandarua county where he is expected to address residents on his bottom up approach economics.
His main opponent, ODM leader Raila Odinga, is in Nyeri county where he landed Friday afternoon ahead of meeting with over 3,000 elders.
He takes Azimio la Umoja campaigns to former President Mwai Kibaki’s home turf of Othaya and other areas in the Nyeri county.
