Manchester United have sacked head coach Ole Gunnar Solskjaer after Watford humiliation.
The Saturday emergency board meeting led to the end of Ole’s reign which started in 2019.
The Norwegian tactician couldn’t put his house in order after the International break and pressure had been mounted on his leadership.
It took the 4-1 defeat at Vicarage Road to convince the board that things were not going to change for the better.

The frustrated Man United team saw Captaoin Harry Maguire sent off the pitch after fouling opponent.
Man United now drop to number seven on the Premier League table having scooped only four points in the last seven games.
Manchester United have also announced that Michael Carrick will now take charge of the team for forthcoming games, while the club look to appoint an interim manager to the end of the season.
